Yingyu Wang
As the only female noted by The Legal 500 AP as a leading individual for Tech, Media & Telco (TMT) Law from 2016 to 2018 and Chambers & Partners for Intellectual Property (IP) Litigation 2017, Ying aims to deliver commercially viable and legally sound solutions for clients in a range of disputes and non-contentious matters, with a strong focus in IP and technology issues. She was also a finalist for the Asian Legal Business “Woman Lawyer of the Year” award in 2017.
As a proponent of blockchain technology, she has advised some of the biggest names in the blockchain space spanning across different industry verticals including Gifto, a decentralised gifting protocol which raised USD30million under a minute from the opening of the public sale of its tokens; BitGuild, a decentralised gaming platform steered by an all-star team; Nebulas, a USD185 million platform that provides a search framework for all blockchains and Switcheo, the first NEO based DEX.
Nominee’s three achievements
1. Preparing Switcheo, the world’s first Multichain Decentralised Exchange (DEX) cryptocurrency exchange platform for NEP-5 token trades built on the NEO platform, for ICO.
2. Advising Giftco, a decentralised gifting protocol which successfully raised US$30 million in under one minute from the opening of the public sale of its tokens.
